Miracle Boy? NOT!!

Muhammad Ponari is a little boy from Indonesia with a big reputation -- thousands of people say the 9-year-old boy has magical powers. His extraordinary story started about two months ago when a lightning bolt struck the earth near his home in the East Java town of Jombang. His followers say he caught a stone that was flung into the air by the impact.

Claiming the stone has been imbued with miraculous powers, he has been dipping it into water, which is drunk by those wanting cures for all sorts of ailments.
Claims of his powers have spread and fast growing crowds have come to his home.
Despite the government order to stop, at least 5,000 people queue in front of his house every day.
The Jakarta Globe newspaper reports that "patients, some with terminal diseases, wait for days and pay millions of rupiah for the magical water dubbed 'Ponari Sweat,' a play on the name of popular isotonic drink".
One infant "treated" by Ponari has died and the paper said four people were killed in crowd stampedes.
Various secular and religious authorities, as well as medical experts, have scoffed at Ponari's miracle status. And yet the crowds keep coming.
I think the above is absolutely rubbish!! This is the 21st century and with the kind of technology we are exploiting, people still believe in such absurd stories?!!
If this is true, then all the doctors, medical practitioners hospitals, etc will be outta job!!!
the boy will probably run off with the money after conning enough....but how much is enough is the question.....
