Wakeboarding again!!

Wakeboard again!!! Same place, with Maxout hydrosports at Raffles Marina.

The last time 2 weeks ago, was sunburnt like never before....today came armed with sun block and tanning oil....but the seesion was called off halfway when it rained...end up we had only 2.5 hours of wakeboarding and not much of sun....sigh....will try to arrange another session before end of this year!! Videos coming up soon!!!

Obama vows to stamp out terrorism and put an end to the Iraq war...blah blah blah....just like any other president....can he do it? like i said before it's just another US president...

The first thing he must do is the stabilise the US economy.

If he can't do that everything else is useless...terrorism will never be wiped out...we must all know how to cope with it...

Eventually, he must not talk the walk but to walk the talk....

OH NO!!!! Of all people, they had to kill him?

Both him and Melinda are such a loving couple i'd really hate to see him off the set.....

White tigers kill zoo keeper in Singapore Zoo

Just this afternoon, a zoo keeper "jumped" into the enclosure of the white tigers and was attacked by 3 rare white tigers....Aiyo, why would anyone take such risks? Either he was trying to commit suicide or must be outta his mind to jump in...there is also possibility that he "fell" into the enclosure?

There were news of people jumping into animal enclosures and got attacked...so when near to the "entrances", all have to be careful lah....just to bad that this happened...and so close to us...right here in Singapore....my condolences...

It is confirmed that the zookeeper jumped in deliberately into the enclosure for whatever reasons...his behaviour was erractic and told another fellow zookeeper : "You will never see me again"

The fact that he brought along with him a pail and a broom probably shows that he did not totally want to die by mauling. Jumped into the enclosure, agitating the cats and then covering his head with the pail and laid down in foetal posture...what was the objective? what is he thinking? Nobody will ever know...but there are definitely easier or rather better ways to committing suicide then this....

Ever since the U.S elections, everyone, everything, everywhere, iz all about Obama this, Obama that...iz enough! iz just another person taking on supposedly the most powerful appointment in the world....

Do we need to be concerned? Do we need to care? Basically i dun give a damn whether who becomes the U.S president....politics has never clicked with me....needless to say politics in other countries...whoever who becomes the president, wars will still go on, terrorism will continue to strike fear into the world, recession will not immediately recover, LIFE STILL GOES ON....what difference will one man make?
Are we just blindly following the news trends just like fashion trends?
"well, everyone talks about Obama, so i have to talk about him too to stay in the 'Hip' group?"
There was also lots of talk when Bush was elected...now where is he? also just another guy stepping down from the appointment...people will most probably remember him as the president when 911 happened....
Let's just get on with whatever and stop harping on Obama being president....

Mellben for crab? Thanks but no thanks!!

Just visited Mellben at Ang Mo Kio over the weekend for a crab dinner...haven been there for probably a year.. the whole place was renovated and now there is only Mellben and no more other food stalls in the coffeeshop.

The coffeeshop was renovated into resort themed coffeeshop with unnecessary water fountains...wooden walkway etc. Iz just a coffeeshop for goodness sake!!!

Food was generally okay but alot more expensive...the crab bee hoon was still good except a hell lot of butter than before...creamy butter crab maintained its standard...overall, iz not worth the wait anymore. Would go to other locations for my monthly dose of crab....

After your order, they'll try to push you for more orders saying: "Like that enough meh? only these few dishes where will full?" Seating can be arranged first but ordering of food have to be done at the counter which makes it very incovenient....

At least for me, i would not go back there anymore whether for food or crab...it has become too commercialised...and the food prices are like restaurant rates!!

Totally unplanned and no homework done...Stupid!!!

Unlike the case at West Coast Bank robbery where the robber is still on the loose...

Kinda shocked when i got the news via sms from friends....but when i got more details of it, almost laughed my head off....is he really that desperate?

Perhaps yes, but it sure left more than a smile on my face. :)

Still shedding skin....growing up?

My arm here...still shedding dry skin from the sun burn i got during the last wakeboarding session....now my skin flakes are everywhere.....

My falthering Maltese....Bebe

This video was taken about 2 weeks before my beloved maltese, Bebe passed away...Just found the clip on an unused SD card.....after seeing how weak he is "again", it really pained my heart....he has left us for about 4 years already...but it still feels like yesterday...the "sourness" is still there...poor thing...had alot of illness all of his 6 years, still he brought happiness to us which no one can ever replace....Bebe, wherever you are, we are still with you......

My Wii has just gone nukie!!!

Not exactly...just me putting on some "clothes" for my Nintendo Wii console...a "radioactive" signage and its controllers too!!

Anyway, i can now play downloaded games on my non-modified Wii console. HAHAHA!!! FINALLY!!!

To modify the console, there is a cost of about a good 140 bucks...but by installing some software and the help of a Wii game named "Zelda", I NEED NOT BUY GAMES @ $70- $80 ANYMORE!!!! HAHAHAHA!!! Of corse this cannot be done with my friend who did the research and experiments on his own Wii console....cheers to him..:)

After the longest time, finally bought the Masterpiece Starscream Coronation set...have been thinking about it for ages....buy or don't buy? buy or don't buy?

This extension set is one of the classic Starscream appearances in the history of Transformers...how can i not buy it?!!!!!

Wakeboarding!!!

Went for wakeboarding again!! At Raffles Marina, instructor was Ryan, the boss of Maxout Hydrosports, and a very good instructor too!!

Really enjoyed and managed to do the 180....Videos on youtube with links on the right!!

but the jokes are on the rest of the gang, with 3 no-standers and 1 virgin....hahaha jokes outta everywhere when iz their turn to take to the waters!!!

After the 4 hours of wakeboarding, my whole body which was exposed to the sun was red hot...got extreme sun burn...was back in the office and everyone was like "How come you are looking like a lobster?!!"

The aftermath was bad....real bad....the burning sensation...no words can be used to explain....but i enjoyed it...???...My circuits might have got fried....

Teacher in bikini causes stir

This has been quite a while now....about a primary school teacher posting pictures of herself in bikini in her blog etc.

What's wrong with a person wanting to show off their youth? What's wrong with a person who is just trying to express herself? What's wrong with a person who is trying to do what she want?

Its not like she is doing anything illegal or something....

Teachers nowadays are already faced with alot of stress not only form school but from the parents as well.

Now all the parents and schools are complaining that she is not setting herself as a good example to the children/students.

She is not exposing herself, wearing a swimsuit doesn't imply that that perosn is loose, immoral etc.

By accusing her of being loose, not settinga good example is actually wrong. How do you tell the students when the students ask: " What did she do wrong?"

Okay, the swimwear may be abit scarce but iz not illegal....

If it is just because she is a teacher....then the direction is so wrong.

PARENTS AND SCHOOLS, IF YOU THINK TEACHERS ARE SACRED THEN TREAT THE TEACHERS WITH RESPECT!!!

I say so because my wife is a teacher and she faces lots of unreasonable parents as she is a discipline mistress...and the high number of ill-disciplined teachers(yes!! ill-disciplined!!!) does not make it better...teachers now are exposed to verbal abuse from parents until they are more like customer service reps...no more are the days when the parents will believe the teacher rather than their child...everyone will think that their little angel is always right and the teacher is always picking on him/her...

so please just give gwen a break...
