G1 Constructicons Scrapper head sculpt

Started to sculpt the head of constructicon scrapper....G1 style....my first try....seems ok...but will fine tune and refine further....

Finally completed Bonecrusher after a month!!

But still not happy with the paint coat, uneven...patches...maybe i should really consider air brushing...gotta get that airbursh out of the cobwebs...hehehe

Also, encountered what i had feared...PAINT WEAR!! at all the balls joints....HELP!!!!

Custom Devastator Update 23 May 09

Now into the paint phase....really didn't this would be that difficult..

even more difficult than the building stage!!

Have to be aware of the wear wear at the joints and rotating parts.

must sand down these parts to prevent paint wear.

Must make sure they are in uniform color...meaning i can't just do each constructicon one by one...the paint is custom mixed, everytime i mix, it'll be different and the problem is i did not record down the "concoction"!!!! SHUCKS!!!

Really need to find time to do this....baby and family comes first...

I have to work on this project late in thenight when both my baby and wife is alseep...thatz why this is taking so long....too long.

Finally managed to complete my custom Devastator!!

The next thing is to send it to the paint shop!!!

Lotsa satisfaction when i see the completed project....really happy...

This idea came from one of the greatest customiser in the TF world, Frenzy_Rumble, whose website link is provided in this blog....of course credits to him and all others which i have asked for help and consulted in TFW2005 forums...

Finally everything is coming into place in themidst of messing around with my 11 months old baby.

It is really satisfying to complete the project (although this is yet to be complete)...especially now i can see the fella being put together...next difficult phase would be the painting of this monster with the thought of paint wear at the joints...have to think seriously through on that...anyway, i'm enjoying the whole process.....til all are one!!!
