Happy Birthday and Anniversary!! But have to work....

12 Sep 07!!! My 31st birthday and 4th ROM anniversary!!!
and i just came back from work in the morning, slept til around 5pm...then brought the wifey for dinner....
went to for dinner....dress code was no bermudas or shorts and i was wearing 3 quarters. anyway, they prepared a piece of wrap around "skirt" for me to cover my "exposed" legs..haha, others might be thinking i'm trying to create a new trend there.

ambience was good and the food was even better!! since it was our first time there, we asked for their recommendations and signature dishes. the appetizer was a whole abalone each, you can either eat it raw like sashimi or boil it in chicken soup. then comes the wasbi prawns, shark fin soup, seafood soup in coconut husk, braised pork shank, olive fried rice and prime ribs. the dinner ended with the my humble house dessert which comes in 4 shot glasses and assorted fruits. very impressive!! had a really good fill!

the anti-climax.....went to work after sending my wifey home......................xianz........................

Lele is well!!

After the visit to the vet, turned out Le le, as my mum-in-law named her is well...her hind leg is ok, only very weak....anyway, at this point of time, she is well and running around very happily!!!

Brought her downstairs for a walk and she is extremely excited and delighted...estimation from the vet says she is around 12 years old...yet behaving like a puppy!!! Really a happy addition to the family!!

Though my maltese is getting jealous......

LOST & FOUND: Doggie on the road

As we were on the way home on Thursday 09 August 2007 22:30hrs, just outside the carpark at Toa Payoh Lorong 1, was a dog right in the middle of the road. i had to stop my car to avoid collision with the dog. She did not even try to dodge the car. My wife went down to carry the dog and we eventually brought her home.

The dog is a female, very weak and thristy. Most probably she had been abandoned after the AVA decided to implement new laws and fines about dog licensing.

We decided to keep the dog and named her "Le le" . Lele is very weak, skinny. she couldn't even walk stablily. The first couple pf days Lele was ok until Sunday night when she suddenly woke up in the middle of the night crying and whimping very loudly. Limping, she looked as if her right hind leg was badly injured. This continued through the night and also, the next day. My wife and i took turns to look after her through the 2 nights.

We decided that we had to take her to the Vet.......so poor thing....

Honeymoon in Italy and Paris

We took a package tour by tradewinds for Italy. Overall trip was okay, except for the tour guide, who keeps putting us up at petrol kiosks(stopovers) for lunch when we can have lunch at the different places of interest. The guide was definitely not worth the tips! The hotels which we were put up at was located at some ulu place. There was no way of going out to venture on our own...pity.....

At the end of our 11 days in Italy, we booked a budget flight from Rome to Paris. From then on, it was all R&R. Came back to Singapore after a good 14 days in Europe....

Robbie Fowler leaves Liverpool......

My favourite soccer player of all times....England's most natural goal scorer....GOD...Possibly Liverpool's best striker.....Robbie Fowler is leaving Liverpool....again...What a pity....a gifted striker downed by injuries....Looking at the limited playing time he was given this season, his goals ratio is actually not bad...but alas, probably the new owners wana see new blood in the strikers...they should have thrown out that robotic crouch rather than GOD....best wishes to Robbie...Wish you recover from the slump soon!!

Transformers Masterpiece

My favourite transformers masterpiece has to be MP-03 Starscream. Although the color scheme is to as close to the G1 cartoon series, but the transformation engineering is almost perfect!! Cant' wait for the Masterpiece SKywarp to debut!

The next closest masterpiece in terms of transformation engineering would be MP-05 Megatron. But the toy looks abit too skinny at the legs for me.

I should have posted this long time ago but didn't have the time...regarding my wedding venue, The Fullerton Hotel. Wonderful place, wonderful stay. This place really gives me alotta good memories...when u book the wedding banquet with Fullerton, they actually gives u 2 nights stay in the loft suite. Patrons of the loft suite are actually considered VIPs and can use the straits club which provides food during breakfast and tea times...before i left the place i took a few photos of the 2 storeyed loft suite...everything about the hotel is enjoyable....would go back to stay for my anniversary night in around 7 months time!!
