Le Le has passed on......

Le Le, the dog which we found on National Day last year on the main road of TPY Lorong 1 has passed away in the early morning of 26 June 2008.

Le Le was mainly cared for by my mother-in-law and was a jovial addition to the family....we do not know her actual age but it is estimated that she could be well over 12 years of age.

My mother-in-law was very distraught.....sadly, we brought her to cremate and now awaiting her ashes.

At least we know that she is no more in pain and has no more suffering from illnesses...

Caden ...the little BOTAK!!!!

Brought Caden for a shave....the fella was crying non-stop all the way....stopped crying the moment i brought him outta the shop but resume almost immediately when i went back in...seems like he doesnt like the barber....anyway, the hair will be used to be made into a brush which we will return it to him when he's a grown-up.

My baby is born!!!

Caden Anthony Fay Teng Aik, my son is at last born on 25 March 2008 04:03 hrs!!!
Here are a few pictures of him after both my wife and him were discharged from Mount Elizabeth hospital. Alot of people say that using a private hospital burns a large hole in the pocket. But not true...we compared the prices and they are around the same range. Anyway, we were treated very well by the Mount E personnel, from nurses to receptionists. Good impression!! WOuld definitely go back if we decide to have another kid!!!

Managed to get tickets to the S-POP HURRAY! GALA last night.

Always enjoyed live performances and concerts...shiok ah!!!

Really good performances from the likes of JJ, Jinsha, Eric Moo, Elva, Weilian, Sin Huey and others...

the only pity was that Umbrella(Not Rihanna!!!) didn't win the song writing contest...

Wakeboarding at Punngol

It's been a long time since my last entry...Probably too busy or too lasy....either way....during this period, actually went wakeboarding twice with my colleagues and this second time, we brought a camera along....I kinda like wakeboarding..shiok ah!! used to wakeboard at raffles marina at tuas....but my colleagues like punggol marina...makes no diff anyway...

Bought the buddha heads in Jogyakarta, when i travelled there for pre-wedding photo shoot...

Bought the wood from daiso and made the frame and holder myself....the black color was also self-sprayed.

Kinda proud...haha

Apple I-phone

Saw this advert for Apple I-phone and thought that it was really neat.

When i was in Houston, went to an Apple store and fiddled with the I-phone....it was so cool that i almost bought it...but i didn't coz it cannot be used in Singapore...yet.

Right now only AT&T in US can activate the phone...though there are hacks available, there would be alot of trouble updating the firmware, software and with third party softwares....SO, better to have more patience and wait til AUGUST 2008!!

Finally back from the US trip....after 17 hours of flight(L.A to Bangkok) backside was really sore, head was heavy and knees were really stressed....SO GOOD TO BE BACK HOME!!!

In Houston.....

Was in Houston, USA for business trip....legs went about 14 hours without touching ground and waiting time of about 7 hours in between transits....Finally reached and went shopping straight away!!!
Day 1: Rented a car for ground travel in houston....Hyundai Sonata...came with a GPS navigation system...boy with that, it was like i had lived in houston for a long time!! when it comes to an exit of an expressway, the GPS will sound you off to turn here, turn there, and the distance to that turning.....
Hotel was JW Marriot Hotel Houston....Quite a luxurious hotel....th bed especially shiok!!!
Factory outlets in houston were good for shopping as they were very very cheap!!! Katy Mills shopping mall was the first stop.
Next was the up marlet shopping centre, the galleria in the heart of the Houston Downtown...LV, Coach, Tiffany and Co, u name it, they here!!

Day 2: Headed for another 2 factory outlet shopping malls....The Prime shopping mall and Tanger shopping mall...The 2 malls are somewhat linked together and they are HUGE!!!
Very cheap branded buys....you wouldnt believe it!!!
But the trip there and back was bad....a total of 6 hours on the roads...by the time we finished with the place, it was about 7pm....then we headed for HRC..HARD ROCK CAFE!!! Then it was home sweet home!!! Day 3 would have to be the start of work......wonder how long will the site visit take.......
