Finally, friday.....

waiting for time to pass on a friday is so slow......i really look forward to ending the working day...so bored..and tired. Also dunno why.....*sigh*
But when i think of next monday, i'm cool coz i'm going wakeboarding again!! shiok!!! over the weekend, lunching & dining with friends and Majong session on sat.
Hope that i'll have a chance to try out my Nintendo Wii Rockband set!!!

Also have to start on my projects....customising transformers!! I'm trying to do the Universe Ratchet and the challenging, Ultimate: DEVASTATOR!!!!
Parts are all here...just the work to be done....wish me luck!!!

Ghost whisperer

Finally got over the night shift....

Moving on to my favourite dramas....currently iz tied between Heroes and Ghost Whisperer...Hahaha...for both dramas, i have the downloads!!! So if you are interested....

Ghost whisperer is into its 4th season and heroes Season 3 or rather Volume 3 they'd call it.

Heroes is a show that just keeps you on the edge of your seat, and is the only reason why i hope that monday come faster...the episodes are connected..

Whereas Ghost Whisperer, there is the attractive female lead, Jennifer Love Hewitt who i believe is one of main reasons why the show is a success....nah...i love the storyline really much...lol. On the overall season, there is some connection but each episode has its own storyline....the part which touched me the most is when the sprit, before going into the light touches or kiss their live relatives, the relatives can almost feel them, feel that the spirit is there with them....don't know how would i feel when i die....will i still rmember all that i love? all will i just go into the light and forget everything? *sigh* kinda scary if you think of it.....

Night shift....

The second night shift....sianz....saw my family just for awhile after i woke and took my dinner and left for work.......guess in this line, i'll have to do night shift whenever required...well thatz the way life goes....u either be happy with it or screw up everything...i guess that itz alot easier to be happy rather than unhappy....
Anyway, by now it's just an hour to off work...finally i can get some rest!!! Everytime after night shift, the feeling is like i died and revived...i did not and could not feel or sense anything that is happening around. Sounds scary but am used to it...we all have to get used to something or everything...like the saying goes : "Animals that cannot adapt to the einvironment will become extinct."
hahaha...sayings, sayings, sayings.....i have no own saying:" Don't live life, enjoy it."
*yawn* guess i'll be "dying" again later.......

Precious Meimei

Here's my precious maltese Meimei of 9 years.

One hell of a rebellious kiddo this fella but we all love her absolutely.

We were very worreid that she might get jealous after Caden was born...but turned out that she cared for Caden as much as anyone in the house...there was not a drop of jealuosly at all.

Times when Caden woke up crying in the room, and we did not hear his cries as we were in the kitchen or watching TV in the living room, Meimei would coming running, calling us to tend to Caden...I have personally seen meimei jump up the bed and look into Caden's sarong (Caden is sleeping in a sarong cradle which is just about the height of our bed) to see how is he doing....

We are so appreciative towards this girl...she is so smart and loving....

Another health scare - Nissin Instant noodles!!!

What?!! Another health scare?!!

This is ridiculous!

Nissin in Japan has recalled 500,000 of their cup noodles after an old lady vomitted and felt numbness in her tongue after consuming the cup noodles.

Investigations and checks showed that the cup noodles contained traces of paradichlorobenzene, a key chemical in insecticides.

By now most of the cup noodles that were distributed were already sold off the shelves...How are they going to recall the products?

This time round, the factory is not located in China...which means good and bad. Good is we know that probably the incident might not be the result of some unscrupulous businessman trying to sae money....The bad side of it is that contaminated food products are "venturing" out of China!! Nowadays, people has started to boycott china foods products or even any china products. (which i am already doing so) Now that this happened in Japan, are we going to boycott Japan proucts too?

I don't think so...cause eventually the technology coming out of Japan is too exquisite to resist...especially the Playstations and the Nintendo Wiis....Food products? Nah...i like sashimi and sushi too much to give it up...So far iz only one incident...and it's cup noodles for goodness sake...the last time i took cup noodles was like......when was it? probably ages ago...So no big deal for me...for now..unless more of Japans' food products are reported for health problems....

Punch/Counterpunch 98% Completed!!

This custom was conceptualised when i saw Transformers Universe 1.0 Sunstreaker and Sideswipe. The molds for the 2 figures were similar and the arms could turn and twist front and back. Therefore, look for another head of similar size to fit to the back of the sunstreaker head which i also modified partially.

The figure was then taken apart, painted into blue color from the original yellow (some of the yellow can still be seen). After transformation, some of the blue paint actually came off because of the added thickness from painting.

The figure is my perfect...but i'm not complaining as it is my first...probably the next oen i would thin the paint further.....anyway what's left for this figure are the autobot and decepticon emblem which i've yet to imprint on the figure.....

Request help from Government?

Recently, read in the papers and saw from teh news that people are actually asking the government to help them to get their investment back particularly those who had invested in lehman brothers and affiliated companies....
I don't think anything can be done and i believe the government should not chip in to help.

As much as i sympathise with the people who had lost their life savings, espcially the old folks....but this is the consequence which an investor has to bear when the choices they make are not working out.

You deposit in a bank to generate interest, invest in unit trusts, fixed deposits, shares etc. Eventually, we all want to make more money, as much as possible....but when the company go busts, all the share price drops to beyond redemption, we all have to bear everything... when we sign up for an investment, we have to understand the risks involved and the benefits...after balacing the pros and cons, we put down our name....yes, the bank or the investment might be hard-selling but eventually before we sign in blood, we have to fully, thoroughly everything about an investment.

The banks will always say low risks, high risks....but remember LOW RISK is not NO RISK!!!!
After all are gone, and asking the government to help, it very much like asking Singapore Pools to return the money we betted on 4D and Toto when the numbers do not strike..DUH!!!

But like i said again....Sympathy there is but i don't think there is a way to get back what they've lost...no matter how loud they speak at the speaker's corner or how much tears they shed on tv...that's just the cruel reality....

Found some 3 knock off transformers which i bought about 15 years ago....

look at the size compared to a original frenzy figure....and the G1 tracks figure...anyway, i still like the toys very much. and the fact that they can transform makes it more difficult for me to let go of them...

Policeman "killed" Mernel?

I don't agree...The police man is just doing his job in bringing in people that break the law. This what the police is there for...ensuring public security and order.
The law breaker's responsive actions will not and cannot be predicted. In this case, it is just too bad that the 15 years old girl cannot take it in a positive way. Anyway, it is also suspected that she and her friend were glue sniffing before the fall. So it might not be the girl's intention to jump off.
From the papers, the policeman has undergone some counselling and i hope that he will get back to his feet soon. He can also think of this in another way which is if he thinks himself as a murderer....then the judges that sends criminal to the gallows will be labelled as psychopath mass killers.....Mr policeman BUCK UP!! YOU"RE GOOD!

Custom Transformer Update

Just an update to my custom Punch/Counterpunch....Have taken the toy apart for more coats of paint and weathering effects on the arms and legs....have started to think of the head....A layer of clear coats have been applied to the car body.....Can't wait to see the finished product....my first custom.....i will be moving on the combiners next.....
